Holy milestone, Batman! We’re please to present you with episode 10 of MMO Radio, this week coinciding with the announcement of Sony’s next generation console, the Playstation 4! Since Adam has been unpacking from his week in marital bliss, Chris leads the conversation through the MMO possibilities that might accompany this new tech!
Think about it, folks. This new system finally brings its architecture close enough to PCs, and packs enough punch, where MMOs can finally see full, feature complete releases on consoles. Streaming guarantees hardware parity is no longer an issue. Even non-MMOs seem to push closer and closer persistence, as Bungie’s Destiny recently made clear. And hey, Sony has a whole branch kinda dedicated to this stuff, right Smed?
